Volunteer Hours
VOLUNTEER HOURS
Families are responsible to make sure the hours they work have been credited on the Completed Volunteer Hours Tracking Spreadsheet. Be sure to keep track of the hours you have worked. It may take up to two weeks for your reported hours to appear on this spreadsheet. If you have worked volunteer hours and have not received credit, please contact Andrea Banaszewski.
What counts for volunteer hours: concessions (including high school games), pre-approved designated rink projects, concerts, pre-approved fundraising events, cleaning, locker room monitor, Minor official roles for youth games — both home and away (scorekeeper, time clock, and penalty box), board position, coaching.
What doesn't count for volunteer hours: Hours worked at your home tournament do not count towards volunteer hours requirement. Hours worked during a high school game do not count toward youth volunteer hours, unless you are working in the concession stand.
A maximum of 10 hours can be carried over from in season work to the required 20 hours off-season requirement.
Shift Cancellation: If a concession shift is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or you are a no-show, you will incur a $50 fee, payable to the association within 30 days. If you need to cancel your shift and it is less than 24 hours notice we ask that you find someone to cover your shift. If you are not able to find someone please reach out to Kari Brouwer at kari0909@live.com, Carissta Arndt at carisstaarndt@gmail.com and Andrea Banaszewski at banaszewskiandrea@gmail.com so they can assist in finding someone cover the cancelled shift.

If you do rink projects for Dan Gilkerson, please email Andrea Banaszewski directly (email link at the bottom of this page). EXCEPTION: Your manager will report all minor official hours worked at home and away games.
If you have never worked concessions: If you have never worked concessions before, email Kari Brouwer at kari0909@live.com to set up a time to train prior to your shift.

COMPLETED VOLUNTEER SPREADSHEET
The spreadsheet shows hours that still need to be worked. The concessions requirement column will be greyed out if you have completed your 5 hour concessions requirement. Any additional hours you work, in either column, will show up in parentheses. (ex: if you see (5.5) in the greyed out concessions column, that means your concessions requirement is fulfilled and you have worked 5.5 hours above and beyond your concessions requirement.)
